One of Delaware’s two AAA four-diamond restaurants has closed. Bramble & Brine in Rehoboth Beach has closed and owner Joey Churchman is now working at The Buttery.
Bruce Churchman said the building at 316 Rehoboth Avenue was a family investment property, and the family offered his son the option of a long-term lease.
The chef, lauded by Zagat and the Washingtonian, opted to do something different. He joined The Buttery operation.
The building is for sale for $2.15 million, equipment included. Bill Lucks of Keller-Williams is the agent. The building also includes a two-bedroom apartment.
