Book of Lists expands, and continues to evolve

Delaware Business Times’ Book of Lists is growing. Just one year and several hundred updates since our inaugural edition, the 2016 Book of Lists is bigger and more reflective of the many great industries and organizations that make Delaware a vibrant place to work and live.

We’ve updated and added more than 300 business listings, and we’re also thrilled to offer several new categories, like “Real Estate Deals,” “Breweries, Distilleries, and Wineries” and “Restaurant Groups” – something we’ll continue to do as the book evolves.

Frankly, it’s no easy task easy to compile the information, or offer the listings in a way that perfectly suits everyone. We also know that a simple online survey doesn’t capture the story, history or people behind every listing.

But with each submission, you get our attention. We read your survey, and for just a moment, we see the snapshot of your business, what you’re doing, and how you’re making an impact. And when put those snapshots together, each list becomes a business community, and the book, a valuable resource.

But more than that, it’s a reflection of the best of Delaware – a tool that features new start-ups and old friends, big companies, and family-owned mom and pops, and every listing a contributor to the state’s economy.

It’s a great advertising vehicle, too.

But if you’re name isn’t in it, or you haven’t submitted a survey, don’t worry, there’s always time. We update the list online regularly and print at least one list with every issue. So don’t wait for a phone call from us. Simply click the “list” tab on our homepage and add your data.
