DOVER, Del. (AP) — Delaware transportation officials are warning of potential traffic jams due to this weekend’s air show and open house at Dover Air Force Base and beachgoers.
The “Thunder Over Dover” is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. About 200,000 people are expected to attend.
It’s also the last weekend before Labor Day weekend.

Drivers are encouraged to drive after 9 p.m. on Friday or early Saturday morning to avoid crowds. Traffic leaving southern Delaware on Sunday is also expected to be heavy.
