Barclays donates $125,000 to Food Bank of Delaware

Barclays Bank presented a check for $125,000 at the graduation ceremony for the 49th and 50th classes of The Culinary School at the Food Bank of Delaware.

The donation will support the Food Bank’s efforts to cultivate workers from all backgrounds in the culinary field.

The money will help pay the tuition for the Culinary School. The 14-week program teaches cooking skills, such as knife handling, and industry standards, such as ServSafe certification. All students must complete a two-week internship.
