WILMINGTON – Pennsylvania-based Arthur Hall Insurance has been acquired by Marsh McLennan Agency, impacting at least six full-time employees in its Wilmington office.
The move will add 42 employees to the Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) team under the leadership of Daniel Mackarevich and former Arthur Hall President Jim Denham as the business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and wealth, and private client insurance solutions company works to expand its reach.
According to a press release from MMA, all of Arthur Hall’s employees will continue to work from their West Chester, Pa., and Wilmington offices, allowing them to continue servicing their clients, many of whom have specialties in life sciences, information management, nonprofits and manufacturing, among other industries.
“Our clients are facing challenges on multiple fronts, and our value lies in the ability to foresee these dynamics and equip them for any scenario,” MMA East Region CEO Andrew Neary said in the press release. “We look forward to bringing the Arthur Hall team’s business insurance expertise to our clients in the region, while simultaneously establishing a new presence for MMA in Delaware.”
Arthur Hall Insurance has been in business for more than 50 years in the area, a reputation local leadership hopes to continue under the MMA umbrella.
“MMA has a unique power of perspective that is unmatched in the industry. In our ongoing pursuit of enhancing client outcomes, it became clear that joining MMA was our best path forward for our clients and colleagues, providing access to a wide range of risk mitigation strategies and a network of experts for clients and resources to enhance our colleagues’ careers,” Denham said in the press release.
