WILMINGTON ““ The Archer Group, a Wilmington digital strategy and marketing company, has moved to Courthouse Square, a multi-tenant 10-story office building at 600 N. King St.
The move from its former spot at 233 N. King St. to its new 27,000-square-foot office accommodates the company’s growing staff of nearly 80 professionals with collaborations spaces, breakout areas and a speakeasy-style lounge area.
“After only a few days in the space, we’re already seeing more interaction among teams, collaboration on projects, people gathering together for lunch and an immediate impact on our creative energy,” said CEO Mike Derin.
The digital marketing and advertising agency has signed a 10-year, six-month lease with AIG. Nelson, the architecture firm, designed Archer’s space.
“When we imagined the office, we wanted to create a space where professionalism and creativity could collide to drive our agency forward, and I think we’ve more than accomplished this goal,” Derins said.
A significantly upgraded lab space will showcase the agency’s new projects, display solutions, digital signage, touchscreens, and virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. The offices also include 10 conference rooms, a kitchen with beer and wine refrigerators, breakout rooms, a common area with stadium seating, a coffee bar for clients, outdoor seating and weekly food truck visits. There are plans for an onsite café and a fitness center.
“The space provides room to grow in every department,” Derins said. “As the digital landscape changes, we want the flexibility to add to departments when needed, without our floor plan restricting us.”
