African American Empowerment Fund is now accepting grant requests

The African American Empowerment Fund of Delaware (AAEFD), a giving circle within the Delaware Community Foundation, is now accepting grant applications from area nonprofits.

AAEFD was created to promote causes important to African American Delawareans.

The grantmaking will target education with a focus on higher education access and retention. Applicants can request up to $2,500.

The deadline is 4:30 p.m., May 31. All requests must be submitted electronically.
