The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs has reaffirmed accreditation for Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington.
Established in 1988, the council is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels.
Goldey Beacom was first accredited by the council in 1998 and is required to go through the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain accreditation.
“Goldey-Beacom College has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said Dr. Steve Parscale, the council executive who will present the Certificate of Reaffirmation of Accreditation at the Accreditation Council For Business Schools and Programs Conference 2016 in Atlanta on June 19.
“It is an honor to receive renewal of ACBSP’s accreditation demonstrating Goldey-Beacom’s continued commitment to excellent teaching standards as well as its 129-year tradition of providing accessible, career-focused education,” said President Dr. Gary L. Wirt.
