Junior Achievement of Delaware announced the 2016 inductees into the Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame.  The laureates will be honored at induction ceremonies at University of Delaware’s Arsht Hall in Wilmington on October 5.

The honorees at the 27th annual Business Hall of Fame ceremony will be former DuPont CEO Ellen Kullman; real estate developer Paul McConnell of the McConnell Companies; Allen Fasnacht, patriarch/co-founder of family-owned Funland in Rehoboth Beach; and former Delaware Community Foundation president Fred Sears.

Inductees were selected on the basis of their contributions over the course of their careers to workforce development and economic development in the region.  The 2016 inductees join the ranks of 57 laureates inducted into the Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame since its inception.

Redesigned in 2015 in partnership with M&T Bank, the Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame ceremonies follow a more contemporary format and focus on the local Junior Achievement students who look up to the Hall of Fame laureates.

Prior to their induction, each living laureate participates in structured interactions with local Junior Achievement students on topics such as Business Ethics, Work Readiness, Entrepreneurship, and Economics.
