Wilmington-based 3E Marketing Solutions (3EMS), a boutique marketing agency that provides affordable marketing strategies, educational workshops and state-of-the-art solutions to entrepreneurs and small-business owners, has moved from its 800-square-foot office space to a spacious 2,200-square-foot suite of offices in order to accommodate rapid growth.
Located in the One Commerce Building at 1201 N. Orange St. in Wilmington, 3EMS has grown from a one-woman, around-the-kitchen-table adviser to a six-person, full-time staff serving numerous clients and attracting ever-increasing audiences to its workshops.
“I am both thrilled and terrified at the surge of positive activity at 3E this past year,” said co-founder Donna Duffy. “It is gratifying beyond belief that we are able to fill an important need in the small business community, and that word has gotten out that 3E is a go-to resource for them.”
One of 3EMS’s go-to activities is a free Boost Your Business (BYB) workshop, held the second Wednesday of the month. This concept started with three or four local business owners sitting around Duffy’s kitchen table, drinking coffee, and grew steadily over the years as word got out of Duffy’s no-holds-barred, come-one-come-all approach to sharing advice and expertise to an audience that is always thirsty for knowledge and comfort.
3EMS leased the newly renovated offices on the building’s 10th floor to give employees larger working areas and client meeting space, and also to accommodate Duffy’s vision for the new PERK Academy, a business accelerator learning center where students enroll for classes on a variety of business-building topics, including marketing, sales, communications, social media, branding, book publishing.
The PERK Academy launches February 2016.
