13 top innovators earn awards during Delaware Innovation Week

WILMINGTON — Technical.ly Delaware honored 13 of the area’s top innovators Friday in an awards celebration hosted by 1313 Innovation.  The ceremony  capped off the second annual Delaware Innovation Week, which drew hundreds of techies and entrepreneurs to 28 events around the area. Winners were chosen by readers and included:

*Entrepreneur of the Year —  Amira Idris of Vibrating Therapeutic Apparel
*Sciences Group of the Year — Greenhill Pharmacy
*Tech Startup of the Year — COAKT
*Technologist of the Year —  Pauline Himics of First Ascent Design
*Tech Business of the Year — ChiroFusion
*Innovative Corporate of the Year —  JPMorgan Chase
*Tech Mission Organization of the Year — Girl Develop It Wilmington
*Development Product of the Year — Open Data Portal
*Design/Development Firm of the Year —  First Ascent Design
*Colocation Community of the Year — The Mill Space
*Indie Video Game of the Year —  Blind Blades by Heavy Key Studios
*Innovative Creative Group of the Year — The Kitchen
*Tech Meetup of the Year — Delaware Tech Meetup
