Waste Management donates to Minquadale Fire Company

To show their appreciation for their service to the community, Waste Management’s DRPI Landfill has donated $5,000 to the Minquadale Fire Company. DRPI Landfill manager Mike Thomas, right, recently delivered the donation to the Minquadale Fire Co. in New Castle, receiving the grant check is Fire Chief Brian Shaw. The fire company provides fire and ambulance services in an area of New Castle that includes the landfill, the New Castle County Public Safety Building, Dunleith, Fern Hook, Garfield Park, Minquadale, Oakmont, Overview Gardens, and the businesses along Route 13 from the City of Wilmington to Interstate Route 295. The landfill is operated by Waste Management.
