Wilmington Brew Works has won a gold Crushie Award in the Craft Beer Marketing Awards for the Best Use of Retro Branding Wildcard Category.

“We were so impressed by the sheer creativity, innovation, and caliber of marketing displayed in entries from around the world in every category,” CBMAS Co-Founder Jim McCune said in a statement, “More than 500 Judges from around the world had their work cut out for them this year. The Judges had it tough, they really had to split hairs!”

Craft Beer Marketing Awards (CBMAS) is a global awards competition to recognize craft beer artwork, culture, retail marketing and design efforts. Founded in 2019,  CBMAS includes categories that range from the “Best Can Design” to “Coolest Taproom” and “Best Website Design” to “Best Use of Social Media.” This year a judge panel of over 500 industry professionals evaluated entries in over 40 categories from around the globe.

“After having to do virtual awards ceremonies for 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic, it was really exciting for the CBMAS to take the stage to present the awards in the most popular categories,” said CBMAS Co-Founder Jackie DiBella-Curry in a statement. “It was a wonderful experience to meet so many of our winners in person at the ceremony, everyone was so excited!”
