Krystle Gandhi, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, has been appointed chief nursing officer of Christiana Hospital on the Newark campus.

Gandhi comes to ChristianaCare from JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, where she most recently served as assistant chief nursing officer. She has held leadership positions in nursing and clinical operations and in clinical informatics at JPS Health Network, a major teaching hospital with one of the busiest emergency departments in the country, for more than 15 years.

In her new position, Gandhi will oversee all nursing operations at Christiana Hospital. She will work closely with Nursing caregivers to advance the highest standards of patient care and will lead initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience. Her leadership will be instrumental in driving ChristianaCare’s mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our community.

Gandhi holds a Doctor of Nurse Practice from Duke University, a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Among her honors, in 2023 Gandhi was named an Essential Hospital Women’s Leadership Academy Fellow and received the JPS Most Impactful Research Award. She has been named among the 100 Great Nurses in Dallas-Fort Worth and as a COVID-19 Health Care Hero. She is active on professional boards and as a community volunteer.


Beebe Healthcare announced the addition of psychiatrist Rebecca Montana, providing psychiatric care to patients of all ages at Beebe Behavioral Health in Lewes; and Mimi Hilderley, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, CNOR, joins the Center for Breast Health team.

Dr. Montana earned her medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where she remained to complete her residency training within the Department of Psychiatry. During that time, she served as co-president for the Jefferson Psychiatry Society and for the organization’s chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

She provided psychiatric care at the Jefferson University East Falls Student Counseling Center and for the Emotional Health and Wellness Program, caring for Jefferson University Hospital resident trainees. She also served as a psychiatric clinical consultant for primary care providers at the Mazzoni Center Youth Drop-In Clinic, which offers services for LGBTQ+ adolescents and young adults.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Montana worked as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Bipolar Clinic and Research Program in Boston, and as a clinical psychology research assistant at McLean Hospital’s Behavioral Health Partial Hospital Program in Belmont, Massachusetts.

Outside of work, Dr. Montana enjoys exploring Sussex County – especially the Delaware beaches and state parks – and spending time with family and friends.

Hilderley is a nurse practitioner who provides specialized care for new and existing patients, with focus on the treatment of both benign and malignant conditions of the breast. She addresses abnormal mammograms, breast lumps, breast pain, nipple discharge, and breast infections, and also supports patients in need of post-operative and follow-up care. Additionally, Hilderley advocates for breast cancer prevention and surveillance, and helps patients understand their risk based on their personal and family history, and overall breast health.

Most recently, Hilderley served as an advanced practice registered nurse at NutriHealth in Georgetown, where she practiced obesity medicine for adolescents and adults. Throughout her career, she has cared for patients on cardiac, thoracic, vascular surgery, women’s health, breast surgery, pediatric surgery, endoscopy, general surgery, and plastic surgery units. She has worked for Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York; Advent Health Tampa; Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, New York; Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona; and at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.

Hilderley earned a two Bachelor of Science degrees; one in in Nursing from Utica College in Liverpool, New York, and another in Biology from Binghamton University, in Vestal, New York. She completed her Master of Science degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner at South University in Tampa, Florida. Hilderley is certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in both Delaware and Florida, is a Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR), and is a member of the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.

“I am proud to work for Beebe, where I can focus on advancing cancer prevention and improving the overall health and wellness of patients throughout Sussex County,” Hilderley said.

Outside of work, Hilderley enjoys traveling, relaxing on the beach, playing tennis, gardening, and cooking.

Morris Nichols, a national law firm, announced the addition of three new attorneys to the firm. Reece Barker, Sean Meyer, and Jake Rauchberg join the firm following recent judicial clerkships.

Barker joins Morris Nichols’ Trusts & Estates/Private Client group following a clerkship with the Honorable Chief Justice Seitz of the Delaware Supreme Court. His practice will involve Delaware trusts and estates advice, as well as fiduciary litigation. Reece started his legal career working in the corporate litigation department of a prominent Delaware law firm. He earned his JD (2022) cum laude from the J. Rueben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University; and BS (2019) magna cum laude in accounting from Brigham Young University – Idaho.

Meyer served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sheldon K. Rennie of the Delaware Superior Court, where he focused on Complex Commercial Litigation Division (CCLD) cases. He will practice in the firm’s Corporate Counseling group. Sean earned his JD (2023) cum laude with a concentration in corporate law from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and BA (2018) summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in political science from the University of Cincinnati.

Rauchberg will practice in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring group. Prior to joining Morris Nichols, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patricia M. Mayer in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Jake earned his JD (2023) with honors from Emory University School of Law; and BA (2020) in government and environmental studies, and a minor in Spanish from Franklin & Marshall College.


NAI Emory Hill, a New Castle-based commercial real estate firm, announced the addition of Kyle McLaughlin as a commercial real estate sales associate. McLaughlin brings over a decade of diverse experience in real estate management, hospitality, and entrepreneurship. He will focus on sales and leasing, representing both tenants and landlords in transactions across the Mid-Atlantic Region.

McLaughlin’s background includes owner-user sales, mixed-use development, and leasing in sectors such as retail, medical, flex, and industrial. His deep expertise, coupled with his passion for business and entrepreneurship, makes him a valuable asset to the Emory Hill team. In addition to his commercial real estate work, McLaughlin is an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware, where he teaches entrepreneurship and consults on various business projects.

McLaughlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Providence College. His professional affiliations include the Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County (Vice Chair), CIRC, CII, and ICSC. He is licensed to practice real estate in Delaware and Pennsylvania.


The Board of Directors of the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce (RBDBCC) announced the appointment of Doug Lynn and Gordon Bowers, both representing the service business category, to serve on the Board of Directors.

Lynn is the Vice President of Fixtures, Furnishings & Equipment (FF&E) at A1 American, hospitality manufacture and supplier. Lynn joined A1 American in 2021 and has rejuvenated the FF&E division during challenging times with the pandemic. His division completes projects in the areas of hospitality, healthcare, commercial, and residential. Lynn’s experience has allowed him to effectively oversee and manage his own staff while providing support to 22 different sales representatives to achieve sales goals and problem solving.

Bowers is the President/Owner of Atlantic Bureau of Investigations. Since 2006, Bowers has been a consummate and highly motivated investigator and security specialist dedicated to uncovering the truth by drawing on extensive experience, training, and out-of-the-box thinking. He conducts his investigations according to current investigative standards, principles, and techniques, including allegations of illegal or unethical acts and fraud.
