Miss Delaware USA & Miss Delaware Teen USA parents announce contestants


WILMINGTON – The annual Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA Pageant will be held on Sunday June 27, 2021 in the Laird Performing Arts Center at The Tatnall School. The pageants are official state preliminary competitions of the iconic Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Organizations, which are widely regarded as the most prestigious pageant organizations in the world.


Due to ongoing COVID-19 safety precautions, the exciting annual event will be closed to the public. However, for the first time in Delaware pageant history, the event will livestream, bringing the excitement of the pageant right into fans’ livings rooms. “This year, 32 phenomenal young women will vie for the titles and the opportunity to represent Delaware at the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants,” said executive state director Vincenza Carrieri-Russo in a statement to press. “Even before the crowning moment, this group of dynamic young women already has an impressive list of accomplishments. Many are active in their communities, some are enrolled in medical or law school, or even have lobbied to pass laws.”

  • Maura Deegan, Miss Claymont USA 2021

  • Mayda Berrios, Miss Dover USA 2021
  • Taylor Johnson, Miss Fenwick Island USA 2021
  • Kai Ward, Miss Georgetown USA 2021
  • Grace Otley, Miss Greenville USA 2021
  • Amber Patrick, Miss Harrington USA 2021
  • Katharine Wiley, Miss Hockessin USA 2021
  • Kelly Seibold, Miss Lewes USA 2021
  • Danielle Barger, Miss Middletown USA 2021
  • Olivia Moncrieffe, Miss New Castle USA 2021

In addition, Delaware is breaking barriers by introducing the first contestant with Down Syndrome who will grace the Miss Delaware Teen USA Stage. “We are an organization about empowering women. I cannot stress enough what a dynamic group I have this year and they each deserve to be acknowledged,” continued Carrieri-Russo.

  • Alexis Meiklejohn, Miss Harrington Teen USA 2021

  • Olivia Baeschlin, Miss Millsboro Teen USA 2021
  • Chamya Williams, Miss New Castle Teen USA 2021
  • Mia Scarangelli, Miss Newark Teen USA 2021
  • Jacqueline Means, Miss Newport Teen USA 2021
  • Ariana Zavala, Miss Seaford Teen USA 2021
  • Sky Knox, Miss Wilmington Teen USA 2021

In addition to the young women vying for the titles, the event will showcase 2020 titles holders Katie Guevarra, Miss Delaware USA 2020 and Samantha Repass, Miss Delaware Teen USA 2020.
