CLARKSVILLE – The Meoli Companies broke ground on a new McDonald’s in Clarksville, Delaware, marking their 17th restaurant in the state. The location is expected to open in early fall.
“People have asked me, ‘Why the Clarksville/Millville/Ocean View area?’ My answer: Why not? Have you seen what’s happening along the Route 26 corridor? We’ve been looking for the right site in this area for 10 years, and I’m convinced we’ve found the right location,” Mike Meoli, president of The Meoli Companies and McDonald’s Owner/Operator, said in a press release.
In total, The Meoli Companies has 38th restaurant locations in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. The restaurant group has steadily grown over the years, opening approximately one new restaurant each year for the past three years.
“We live in the community. We reinvest in the community. This groundbreaking is more than just a new building—it’s about opening doors for jobs, for new careers, for convenience, and for creating those special, feel-good moments that only McDonald’s can create,” Meoli said.
The new McDonald’s is expected to bring 55–60 new jobs to the area. The restaurant is located at 35010 Atlantic Ave., Ocean View, DE 19970.
