Leadership Delaware announces new look

WILMINGTON —Leadership Delaware, Inc. (LDI) has announced a new look for the organization.

The new CEO, Jennifer Cohan said in a statement, “After many conversations with LDI Fellows and other stakeholders, it was clear that the organization needed some modernization. So, we got right to work and created a committee made up of passionate Fellows and staff to work on how to take the LDI brand and program to new heights.” Cohan further stated, “It was very important to ensure that the new identity stay true to the deep roots of its Founders.”

The new logo incorporates the well-known LDI star at its core, using three colors to represent the counties in Delaware. Additionally, the star points to key areas of development for the Fellows (program participants) in their professional, political, and nonprofit worlds, leaving one side open-ended to symbolize the ongoing journey their Alumni embark upon following graduation.

The second task was the creation of a modern website, LeadershipDelaware.org, which incorporates the updated color-scheme with new photos and videos, along with updated biographies and/or LinkedIn profiles for Fellows, Speakers, Board and Advisory Board Members, Founders, and staff.

According to Cohan, a new LDI motto arose out of the modernization process, “Send us your best and we will make them exceptional.”

LDI is grateful for the Modernization Committee Members’ time, dedication, and creative ideas. Members include, Jeff Martino and Roger Chaufournier, Cesar Caro, Nick Carosella, Denée Crumrine, Michael Eppehimer, Markevis Gideon, Tim Kim, Laura Lloyd, Kendall Massett, Meghan Newberry, Alex Parkowski, Chuck Posnecker, Jerome “JR” Rogers, Shannon Tumolo, and LDI Staff, Jennifer Cohan, Lora Matteis, and Greg Munson.

LDI is now accepting ongoing applications for future prospective fellows. Opportunities also exist to become a year-round Program Partner, and help sponsor our program, so we can continue to Develop Leaders and Impact Communities.
