SoDel Concepts recently announced SoDel Cares has donated $10,000 to the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation for the Freeman Arts Pavilion.

The Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, a nonprofit organization, operates the Freeman Arts Pavilion, previously known as The Freeman Stage, and the Arts Access Initiative.

“The Freeman Arts Pavilion is in an exciting growth phase that will bring more live performances to Sussex County,” Scott Kammerer president of SoDel Concepts said. “Along with offering first-rate entertainment, the Freeman Foundation introduces the arts to K-12 students, some of whom have never seen live performances.”

The Freeman Arts Pavilion has an established track record of economic contributions to Sussex County’s economy each summer, according to a 2019 University of Delaware study.

SoDel Cares honors the legacy of SoDel Concepts’ founder, Matt Haley. Since 2017, SoDel Cares has donated more than $740,000 to local charities.
