WILMINGTON – The Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a new redesigned website, VisitWilmingtonDE.com, to help visitors plan a trip to the region.
“We’re more than just a destination—we’re a community,” Jennifer Boes, the Bureau’s executive director, said in a press release. “Our new website reflects this ethos, and we’re excited for visitors to explore all that we have to offer.”
Navigation has been streamlined with larger images and visual elements, ensuring ease of use for all visitors. Additionally, VisitWilmingtonDE.com incorporates an innovative Trip Builder feature. The personalized tour guide helps craft tailored itineraries, catering to diverse interests ranging from history and cuisine to outdoor adventures.
The site’s template also offers users in-depth insight into special offerings and topics, such as the annual Brandywine Treasure Trail Passport and Greater Wilmington Discount Pass.
The new site includes expanded DEI content including pages dedicated to LGBTQ+ Wilmington, African American History, and more. Plus, in the coming weeks, the Bureau will be making the website fully ADA and WCAG compliant for full accessibility to all.
