Food Bank of Delaware announces search for new President and CEO

Wilmington – The Food Bank of Delaware Board of Directors announced today that it has formally opened its search for a new President and CEO in partnership with executive search firm, Nonprofit Professional Advisory Group (NPAG). The search will be led by a Search Committee comprised of members of the Food Bank’s Board of Directors.

“We are excited to start this new chapter at the Food Bank of Delaware,” said Food Bank of Delaware Board Chairman Andy Larmore in a statement. “The leadership team has done an amazing job steering the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the leadership of Interim CEO Sanjay Malik, the Food Bank team has worked tirelessly to distribute more than 15 million pounds of food during this unprecedented time. The Board of Directors appreciates the work of Sanjay and the team and are eager to find our next leader who will take the organization to the next level post-pandemic.”

The Food Bank of Delaware is looking for an experienced, passionate, and supportive nonprofit leader to serve as its next President and CEO. The President and CEO will be responsible for: developing and implementing the Food Bank’s strategic vision in collaboration with the board and leadership team; creating a nurturing workplace culture; and cultivating relationships with donors, partners, and public leaders throughout the state of Delaware.
