WILMINGTON – Donate Delaware continues to support local organizations with personal protective equipment donations to Wilmington Montessori and the Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center.
Wilmington Montessori received 450 disinfecting wipes, 900 children’s masks and 300 bottles of hand sanitizer, while the Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center received 375 children’s masks, 400 pairs of latex gloves and 20 packs of disinfecting wipes.
The Wilmington Montessori School is a collaborative learning community rooted in Montessori principles, inspiring the joyful discovery of self and a passion for learning and independent thinking. They empower children to be knowledgeable and responsible contributors to the global community.
The primary purpose of the Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center is to provide supplemental educational activities for youth in the Hilltop area of the City of Wilmington. So they are effectively able to compete academically and socially for career opportunities and higher education. HLNC provides a safe and nurturing environment for the educational process to flourish and will work with the parents of HLNC participants and the general community to promote high educational, ethical, moral, and spiritual values.
