Southern Delaware Tourism announces hotel discount for Delawareans

From January 1, 2021 through March 31, select Sussex County hotels, in a joint promotion with Southern Delaware Tourism, are offering Delaware residents a 15% discount on room reservations.

Delaware residents looking for nearby road trip winter getaways will find cozy accommodations – including pet friendly ones – outdoor activities with coastal views, hiking and bicycling trails, charming downtown boutiques and outlet shopping as well as antiquing experiences, brewery and winery stops, and the best dining in the Mid Atlantic along Southern Delaware’s Culinary Coast.

And they’ll be able to enjoy all of it at a discount.

“This is a great opportunity for our neighbors from all over Delaware to enjoy a refreshing winter escape from this Groundhog’s Day we’ve all been living for nearly a year,” said Scott Thomas, SDT’s executive director in a statement. “Our hotels look forward to welcoming them while emphasizing safe accommodations.”
