LEWES – Beebe Medical Group opened a new Beebe Primary Care in Selbyville at the intersection of Routes 54 and 20 on Jan. 10.

“Tremendous excitement and a lot of hard work by team members and partners have led to this celebration for our new Beebe Primary Care Selbyville,” David A. Tam, MD, MBA, CPHE, FACHE, President & CEO, Beebe Healthcare, said. “We’re working tirelessly to do the hard work of executing our strategic vision to continue growing to serve our expanding communities and the people of Sussex County. Thank you to the dozens of community members who came out to help us celebrate during the wind and rain!”

According to Beebe, Darlene Haupt, DO, and Jessica Hammond, FNP, are the two providers seeing patients in the office. Bebee has room to grow to accommodate future physicians or specialists.

The primary care office joins the South Coastal Emergency Department and Cancer Center as the newest healthcare additions to the area. The Millville Health Center off Route 26 sees patients for primary care, walk-in, lab, imaging, rehabilitation, and other specialty appointments.

Beebe Medical Group includes 20-plus specialty offices in more than 40 office locations throughout Sussex County. Practices include the specialties of: Cardiothoracic Surgery, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, General and Bariatric Surgery, Hospital Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Travel Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatric Neurology, Pulmonary & Sleep Disorders, Surgical Oncology, Urology, and Women’s Healthcare. Four Walk-in Care Centers serve the community in Rehoboth Beach, Georgetown, Millsboro, and Millville from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
