Delaware Celebration of Jazz, which produces the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival, recently presented Beebe Medical Foundation with $25,000 in proceeds from their 2021 event.

Delaware Celebration of Jazz Team hosted a jazz concert in Dover at Bally’s Dover Casino, which raised $5,000 toward Beebe Oncology Services. Tom Protack, president of Beebe Medical Foundation extended their heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival.

“Over time, this event has brought some of the best Jazz acts to our community, and raised over $200,000 toward Beebe Oncology Services,” Protack said in a statement. “This team went the extra mile this year and added a concert to support Beebe in Dover. We cannot thank Denny and our friends at the Delaware Celebration of Jazz enough for their continued dedication to Beebe’s Oncology Services.”

Executive Director of Beebe Healthcare Oncology Services Maurice Winkfield also applauded the efforts of Delaware Celebration of Jazz for their continued support.

“As the area population has grown, our patient volumes have grown substantially,” Winkfield said. “Donations like this make a huge difference in our ability to serve patients and update our facilities. Thank you to the organizers and attendees of this event for supporting our team and cancer centers year after year.”

The 2022 Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival will take place Oct. 13-16. Learn more about the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival at https://www.rehobothjazz.com/ . Proceeds will benefit Beebe Healthcare’s Oncology Services, including upcoming upgrades to the Tunnell Cancer Center.
