Bank of America and Donate Delaware team up to supply masks

Bank of America partners with Donate Delaware and supplies 10,000 masks to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware. The BGC has over 40 locations in Delaware. 43% of members household annual incomes is less than $25,000 and 50% of registered members belong to single parent households. This donation is part of a nationwide effort by Bank of America to immediately distribute nearly four million masks to communities disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus, including communities of color. Bank of America has been working with local partners to provide resources to vulnerable and underserved communities hardest hit by the coronavirus. In Delaware, which is experiencing an increase in the number of coronavirus cases in some counties, Bank of America is partnering with Donate Delaware to provide personal protective equipment , specifically 100,000 masks.

“The health and safety of our employees, clients and communities remain our top priority during this health and humanitarian crisis,”said Chip Rossi, Delaware market President, Bank of America in a statement.
Since March of 2020 Donate Delaware has been supporting communities up and down the state of Delaware by providing much needed PPE supplies. Due to the generosity of business and non profit partners who donated PPE supplies, Donate Delaware has distributed over $1 million worth of personal protective equipment.
