Avelo Airlines adds nonstop routes to Jacksonville and Raleigh-Durham.

WILMINGTON — Avelo Airlines announced it will expand services at Wilmington Airport (ILG) with nonstop routes to Northeast Florida’s Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and North Carolina’s Research Triangle via Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service between ILG and these two destinations.

Beginning in May, Avelo will operate these routes twice weekly, utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)

  • Begins May 23, 2025, with twice weekly service on Mondays and Fridays

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)

  • Begins May 22, 2025, with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays
