Autumn Arch Beer Project win gold at national beer festival

Autumn Arch Beer Project was awarded a gold medal at the 2023 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) competition.

Autumn Arch Beer Project was recognized in the Belgian Sour Ale beer-style category for its ‘All The Love You Won’t Forget’, a Flanders Red Ale with funky notes of oak and musty grapes blended together in a deeply red and gorgeous barrel-aged sour. Barrel-aged for over 12 months, ‘All the Love’ has tender notes of earthy jam and a super mellow tartness. The beer was released in bottles and on draft for Valentine’s Day 2023.

“The win is a real testament to the recipe research, execution, and barrel management that the brew team diligently handles week in and week out. They are truly dedicated to the craft,” Daniel Vennard, co-founder at Autumn Arch Beer Project, said. “True barrel-aged sour beers are not something that can be whipped together in a few weeks. The team has invested significant time in the sour program since 2019, so it is very rewarding to see these deeply complex, nuanced and distinctive beers be recognized”

Medals presented during the Great American Beer Festival competition are globally acknowledged as emblems of brewing excellence and remain among the most sought-after accolades within the brewing community. In the 2023 competition, top-tier brews spanning 99 beer categories across 175 different beer styles (including all subcategories) received prestigious gold, silver, and bronze medals. These coveted awards were unveiled during an intimate ceremony held at the Bellco Theatre in Denver on Saturday, September 23, 2023, as part of the Great American Beer Festival. The ceremony was live-streamed via The Brewing Network, ensuring worldwide access to this celebration of brewing excellence.

The Great American Beer Festival consists of 250 judges from around the world, as well as more than 300 volunteers. Throughout three phases over nine days, 9,200+ entries were evaluated from 2,033 breweries from all 50 states plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
