“Our team is excited to dive into this campaign — not only is it incredibly stimulating creatively, but for many of us, the Wildwoods hold a special place in our hearts,” said Paul Pomeroy, president of AB&C, in a statement. “We’ve been taking our family to these beaches for years, and some of us spent our own childhoods there. We see this as a fantastic opportunity to marry the unique perspectives we have from our personal experiences with the top-level creative execution and strategic planning that defines our agency.”
AB&C’s extensive experience in creating and implementing successful campaigns for a diversity of tourism projects was one of several factors that resulted in the agency being awarded the three-year contract, which was determined through a thorough request for proposals (RFP) process. AB&C’s work for the Wildwoods will include development, launch and continuation of a tourism campaign strategy and creative, development and oversight of a paid mass media schedule, paid social media and consultation on organic social media.
“AB&C’s creative capabilities, pertinent experience in tourism and sincere passion they demonstrated not only for their profession, but for the Wildwoods, was impressive and checked off all of the boxes of our RFP,” said Ben Rose, director of marketing and public relations for the GWTIDA, which oversees tourism for the borough of Wildwood Crest, the city of Wildwood and the city of North Wildwood. “After meeting with them we had no doubt that they were capable of developing marketing strategies and creative campaigns that will be engaging and effective in driving new visitors to the Wildwoods.”
