Hockessin Athletic Club is a place where 400 employees, 8000 adults, and 4000 children come together to form a community that is health conscious, family-friendly, and fitness focused. HAC strives to not only empower their internal community, but to also be a supporter of the community in which they reside. Each department selects individuals with careful consideration to best reflect their values while delivering expertise and excellent customer service. HAC opened its doors on June 10, 2007 after the transformation of a 11.5 acre mushroom processing site. Today, HAC is the only tax paying health club in the United States bordered by a state park. The effective use of the land for both the club and beautiful Tweed’s Park reflects the cooperative effort of the Delaware Department of Transportation, HAC, and the Hockessin community.
