What have been the biggest obstacles your company has faced over the past three years, and how did you overcome them? Attracting and retaining quality staff. After much trial and error within the past three years, we chose to transition into a referral agency model and offer a secondary income opportunity for students, mothers and retirees.
Looking back, what’s the biggest mistake you made and what would you do differently if you could? Not having a solid business plan. After being open for three years, I decided to participate in the Women’s Business Center “Dream Builder” Business Plan Course and successfully completed my business plan with the intent
to franchise the company.
What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned over the past three years? The numbers tell the story of the business and without being properly educated on the numbers, you can quickly face the challenge of failure without adequate time to create a positive change.
