ARS Fleet Service is a fleet management and maintenance company. We provide services for companies that own fleets of vehicles and are located in New Castle.
What have been the biggest obstacles your company has faced over the past three years, and how did you overcome them?
So the biggest obstacle that we have had to overcome in the last three years was myself, and making that shift in culture. Getting the buy in from our people that it was for real and going in entirely different direction. We shifted from being a truck maintenance and management company to being a client experience company that just happens to fix trucks.
Looking back, what’s the biggest mistake you made and what would you do differently if you could?
I try to not have regrets, but what I would’ve done differently is to have started this program that we are on sooner and making the shift. Making change in good times and in the bad times is key.
What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned over the past three years?
Trust your gut and be comfortable being uncomfortable in business.
How do you keep your team inspired and focused on the future?
We do a lof of team building events and we lay out our vision clearly so everybody knows where we are going and what part they play in that journey. We talk regulary about not only being a better company but being better people.
