Adesis is a contract research organization supporting and contributing to the life-science industries. We engage in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, biomaterials and catalyst industries. We dedicate our efforts in various stages of scientific research, method development, technology transfer and commercialization. We are built to grow with our customers, offering both fee-for-service (FFS) and full-time equivalent (FTE) services to accommodate their needs.

What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned over the past three years? It’s as simple as this: Hire good people. Period. Without our team’s work ethic, talent and resilience, Adesis would have failed long ago. Our belief is that 40 people working together towards a collective goal will be more productive than 100 people working independently. We have learned that Adesis must continually tend to the culture to foster a positive, working environment and scientific growth.

How do you keep your team inspired and focused on the future? Adesis keeps people focused and inspired through honest communication and transparency by involving and engaging the staff in bi-monthly meetings. In addition, we involve ourselves within the community by offering myriad sponsorships allowing our staff to engage outside of the laboratories. The sincerity of a simple “thank you” is appreciated by the staff and is returned in company loyalty. We are proud of our extraordinary high retention rate and involvement.
