Mid-Delaware Imaging

While big companies like Christiana Healthcare, Bayhealth and Beebe Healthcare seem to dominate the hospital-related headlines, smaller, family-owned businesses like Mid-Delaware Imaging are making their way in the market. For Vice President and Director of Medical Imaging Anush Parikh, M.D., patient satisfaction is paramount when competing with the big boys.
“While patients are often viewed as a medical record at large hospital facilities, our goal is to treat each patient like a human and not a number,” Parikh said. “We know having a medical diagnostic imaging exam can be very anxiety-provoking, so this is how people like to and should be treated.”
Mid-Delaware Imaging focuses primarily on radiology, which Parikh calls “one of the most technologically advanced fields of medicine,” and strives to provide state-of-the-art care because “patients should not have to travel to major cities to obtain private practice-level imaging.”
Mid-Delaware Imaging routinely donates to the American Heart Association and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, as well as the Greater Dover Boys and Girls Club, Meals on Wheels, local youth sports, and Mom’s House, which offers single parents a viable alternative to abortion and welfare.
