DiFebo’s Restaurant

Bethany Beach may be a sleepy little beach town during the off-season, but check in between mid-April and mid-October, and you’ll find bustling tourists making their way up and down Garfield Parkway. DiFebo’s Restaurant has been there for nearly 30 years, catering to guests no matter the time of year.
“It’s crazy to think we’ve been here that long, but I remember when we got started almost 30 years ago, we were hand-writing our tickets and calling in orders,” said Lisa DiFebo-Osias, owner and chef. “Now, we’re using iPads to track our inventory and select our musical playlists, and our POS system has made life easier, quicker and more efficient.”
The owner and her crew are as proud of their community involvement as they are of feeding customers.
“When I’m asked to help or donate, I say yes. It’s really that simple,” DiFebo-Osias said. “We just sponsored a 5K for the Sussex County Library System last month and regularly support our town and state through food and finance. We’ve also partnered with Seas the Day, which treats eight wounded veterans and their families to a long beach weekend every September with the works: a spa day, meals, housing, the works.”
