Title: Senior Commercial Property Manager & Real Estate Agent
Workplace: Long & Foster of Newark / Asset Management Alliance
Age: 35
When Rachael Odle left her father’s company in 2013 to take a job as an administrative assistant at property maintenance management firm Asset Management Alliance in Wilmington, it was a big move, but one that has paid major dividends.
She quickly became the firm’s go-to support person, absorbing knowledge about real estate, operations and budgeting.
That enthusiasm led AMA to turn to her in December 2016 when its director of operations had to take an unexpected emergency medical leave. After that position was filled again, Odle was promoted to senior property manager due to her jack-of-all-trades experience over the entirety of the firm’s work.
Today, she trains new property managers and has helped bring new properties into its management portfolio, including CSC Station, Omega Professional Center, Siegel JCC and Whitehall Wellness.
Throughout her career, Odle has participated in community events sponsored by AMA clients as well as community events important to the firm, including the Conquer Chiari Walk Across America in honor of an employee’s family member who suffered from the disease. She has also participated in AMA-sponsored golf outings for the Catholic Youth Ministry, International Facilities Managers Association, Delaware Habitat for Humanity and Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce scholarship.
Outside the office, Odle loves to coordinate events like birthdays, showers and dinners, especially for her sons, Kellen and Masen, who keep her life active.
