Born and raised in Delaware, Jennifer Scalia has led a marketing career that has spanned some of the biggest employers of the First State.

Less than nine months after joining ChristianaCare’s marketing team in 2019, she was made manager of its customer relations management (CRM) market and helped to implement the health system’s rebranding to its now shorter name.

She then became SEO manager for Wilmington business services giant CSC before taking over the global marketing manager role at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where she oversaw digital marketing strategies for Italy, Ireland, and China.

Last year, Scalia returned to the First State to join banking giant JPMorgan Chase, working directly with the chief marketing officer of Customer and Connected Commerce supporting products that include travel, lending, payments, offers and shopping. Today she manages a $100 million budget, driving success metrics across more than 55 people and seven lines of business as well as coordinating all customer marketing treatments.

Outside of her day job, Scalia has served on a board of directors for Dover Federal Credit Union, actively participates in Gals that Give and has co-led an event for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing employee group during a Global Awareness Day that reached 30 countries. She has also taught marketing courses at three different universities while under the age of 30.

The Middletown native has a unique extended family, as her husband’s cousin married a woman with the same first, middle and last name as hers.
