Title: Co-Owner & Sales Director,

Workplace: Seely Homes LLC

Age: 39

A born and raised Sussex Countian, Julleanna Seely had worked in residential real estate for a decade when she decided to get her Realtor license and start a custom homebuilding company with her husband just months before the COVID-19 pandemic struck.

Despite that unexpected challenge, she flourished, selling 35 properties in her first year as a Realtor and pushing revenue at Seely Homes to nearly $1 million in the first half of their second year. In her first 18 months as a licensed Realtor, Seely earned the top producer award for the Griffin Higgins Team three times and sold the team’s record largest property, valued at nearly $2 million.

Aside from her professional achievements though, Seely also won a seat on the Woodbridge Board of Education in July 2020, taking office as heated debate began about how students should return to schools amid the pandemic.

As a mother of three, she is also an advocate for her oldest daughter who has Spina Bifada, a life-altering birth defect. She participates with her in Team 360, a running group that empowers and motivates people with different abilities to compete in mainstream athletic events.

For 20 years, Seely has sponsored impoverished children in Rwanda, sending monthly donations to contribute to a specific child’s health and education. She began that effort in college and sponsored her first child until she aged out of the program at 18, continuing in the years afterward. In that same spirit, Seely Homes offers scholarships to graduating Woodside seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in construction.

When she’s not building or selling homes, or looking after her community’s needs, you can find Seely camping across the region, running in marathons and traveling aboard all adventures that she captures in a lifetime’s worth of journals.
