During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jordan Hellstern wasn’t just the marketing director at Freedom Dental Management. He pivoted from providing advertising support for his company’s four Delaware offices to making decisions that would impact the health and safety of 100 essential employees and their families. 

Hellstern was responsible for acquiring all personal protective equipment for staff who were still seeing patients for dental emergencies, at a time when such garments were nearly impossible to find. He assumed all levels of patient correspondence under constantly changing guidelines and information.

Hellstern embraced those responsibilities while tripling the number of new patients in the last year, leading to the highest net profit for Freedom Dental Management’s practices since its inception. He’s been in a leadership position for the past decade, but he began his career at the bottom of the barrel, making door-to-door sales across multiple industries. As a sales representative, Hellstern earned respect from his superiors quickly, and soon transitioned from a sales representative position to becoming the marketing director at one of the largest HVAC companies in Delaware.

He approaches marketing with a comprehensive perspective, exercising the extreme ownership mindset with a deep understanding of human behavior and the decision-making process. That approach earned him a salesman of the year award when he began his career.

The success he’s had over the last several years allows Hellstern to support several charities, including Delaware Breast Cancer Awareness Coalition, Delaware Food Bank Turkeython, Preston’s March and Seamen’s Center of Wilmington. When he’s not at work, Hellstern spends time with his wife, Sarah, and their three daughters.
