Title: Co-owner
Workplace: 3&D Sports Performance
Age: 32
A former professional basketball player, Raychel Kosh now considers herself a wellness visionary and works to bring her years of experience in the physical fitness arena to local schools and young women across Delaware.
As the co-owner of 3&D Sports Performance, Kosh has helped the business partnered with more than 15 schools and organizations to support its mission of helping 10,000 local girls develop leadership skills and confidence through strength training. Some of the organizations 3&D Performance has worked with include Browns Boys & Girls Club, the Teen Warehouse and Delaware’s Division of Visually Impaired. So far, she says the company is 3% on their way to fulfilling their goal of reaching thousands of young girls. She is also the director of services and support at Ben Greenfield Life, a top wellness brand, where she manages a team of health coaches working with executives worldwide.
Her passionate efforts have paid off for Kosh. In 2023, she was honored as the Young Women Professional of the Year by the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce and in early 2024, her company, 3&D Performance, was awarded the EDGE Grant Award to help expand into a second location.
Kosh earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from SUNY Cortland in New York in 2014 and a master’s degree in nutrition and exercise science from CUNY Queens College in New York in 2016. Kosh and her new husband were married in the 3&D Performance gym earlier this year and they have two athletic greyhounds, Moo Moo and Goober.
Kosh has US-Italian dual citizenship through her great-grandfather and even lived in Spain for a year with her husband. Luckily for her, she is conversational in Spanish.
