Title: Senior Account Manager
Workplace: Advantech
Age: 37

Keeping community first has helped Ryan Kelly prioritize keeping his family and community safe. That goal and focus boosts his success as a senior account manager at Advantech, where he works to provide secure facilities for all of the company’s stakeholders.
Kelly has designed and implemented life safety systems throughout Delaware, and has leveraged his technological know-how to assist with, prevent and solve crimes. He said his work at the security technology company, where he has been employed for 15 years, has accounted for 40% of the business’s revenue. His track record has earned him the company’s “Above and Beyond” award, namely for his work retrieving video that helped solve crime and strengthen surveillance systems at the Dover Motor Speedway during NASCAR and Firefly Music Festival events. He has helped the Speedway with safety surveillance efforts since 2014.
He is particularly proud of a project at The Hope Center in New Castle, where a hotel was converted into rehabilitation and live-in treatment center in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. His work helped secure the facility for all of its staff, patients and residents.
Kelly, a Townsend resident and Wilmington University graduate, also is a member of the nonprofit Delaware Police Chiefs Foundation, for which he co-chairs an annual golf outing benefit. During the holidays, he volunteers his time at the Food Bank of Delaware and in his free time he also helps coach his daughter’s soccer team in Middletown and participates in 5K charity events statewide.
When he’s not working, Kelly can be found playing sports or riding bicycles with his wife and three daughters.
