For Harrison Gelber, setting a good example and supporting the next generation of wealth professionals is a way to give back to those who helped guide him to the high-level role he now holds with WSFS Bank.

As the senior vice president and director of private banking for WSFS’s wealth division, Gelber leads a team of more than 20 managers and support staff that serve high-net-worth clients with deposit, lending and wealth management solutions. He has held leadership roles in that division since 2019 and has been with WSFS since 2014, and is also licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Gelber is responsible for strategic growth and new product expansion initiatives, as well as being in charge of a team tasked with serving as the bank clients’ primary partner on their financial journeys. In his previous roles as chief operating officer, chief administrative and compliance officer, wealth compliance officer and director of trust compliance, Gelber oversaw risk management tasks as well as investment management and other key banking initiatives. He also played an important leadership role during the integration of Bryn Mawr Trust’s wealth businesses, helping optimize services, roll out core technologies and merge various wealth management subsidiaries.

Outside of his banking leadership position, Gelber previously served as treasurer of the Delaware County, Pa., Historical Society and volunteers with various community organizations through Team WSFS, the bank’s corporate volunteer program. In his free time, the father of two enjoys the outdoors and traveling around the world.
