Title: Owner and Managing Attorney
Workplace: Wolfe & Associates
Age: 33
Five years ago, Erica Wolfe was working up to 30 real estate closings per month while working at a firm in Townsend – but she wanted something more. That’s when she started her own law practice from her dining room table.
Today, Wolfe & Associates has grown in leaps and bounds in the real estate law arena. From her first location in Middletown, the firm has since added offices in Wilmington, Dover and Rehoboth Beach and is planning to open its fifth in Chesapeake City, Md. With six attorneys and 25 support staff, the firm oversees about 200 closings each month.
Numbers aside, Wolfe & Associates focuses on infusing technology, security, and customer service into the legal profession. With customer service at the forefront, Wolfe and her team help clients through every step of the residential and commercial purchase and refinance process, including the review of all contracts, mortgage documents, title commitments, and surveys.
Wolfe herself holds a law degree from Widener University School of Law and has served as a judicial extern for Judge Jan Jurden of the Delaware Superior Court. Today, she also teaches and trains attorneys and staff on title clearing procedures. She has been named the top producing title agent for the Fidelity National Title Group from 2018 to 2021.
Every Thanksgiving, Wolfe & Associates collects canned goods and encourages clients and referral partners to participate. The firm also prepares and drops off meals to the local veterans’ home, as well as adopting a family during the holiday season.
On top of being an attorney and business owner, Wolfe is the mother of two children.
