Crystin Liboma’s family often tells her she has a natural inclination for being a therapist. As the oldest of three children, she’s helped nurture and watch out for her siblings while growing up. And that has carried over to a long and varied career in health care, specifically taking care of children before transitioning to administration.
After starting her career as a nurse with Bayada Pediatrics and as a clinical nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Liboma had hands-on experience helping homebound patients with complex needs. After earning her MBA at the University of Delaware, she served as the Enterprise Improvement Advisor at CHOP, where she helped create a stewardship pathway for treating eczema in children.
When Liboma arrived at Nemours Children’s Health in the Delaware region, she helped leverage data to help treat patients. Notably, she managed primary care clinical pathways programs. Liboma also led a project that raised pneumococcal vaccine rates for children with sickle cell disease, diabetes, and other conditions. That project achieved a vaccination rate of 72% in 2022.
Two years ago, she also launched Harp and Hare, a luxury picnics and event company geared to create picture-ready event setups in locations like Penns Woods Winery and our romantic room setups in partnership with the Hotel Dupont. The first year of business brought in five figures of revenue. In the near future, Liboma plans to launch “Picnics for Peds,” providing picnics to children with health challenges.
An avid traveler, Liboma’s favorite locations are Cuba and Zambia, where her in-laws live. While on a trip, she had the chance to walk a cheetah on a leash.
