Alyssa Pietrobono is no stranger to taking on large responsibilities.
Her varied career in accounting has led her to positions with firms in Philadelphia to eventually ChristianaCare’s senior financing team. While comptroller at Delaware’s largest health care system, she handled the routine, such as tax compliance and monitoring internal controls for the $4 billion organization, to the uncommon, such as recording transactions for acquiring a Maryland hospital. While at ChristianaCare, she also worked to rebuild a team unfamiliar with the new technology at hand.
As controller at Richards, Layton & Finger, Pietrobono manages a team that covers the treasury functions and more to the state’s largest law firm. She has led the effort in centralization of billings and is often tasked with directly supporting the chief financial officer.
Pietrobono is used to being the youngest in the boardroom, and that includes her advocacy work. Six years ago, she started working with various nonprofits and current organizations including Cornerstone West CDC and Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Delaware. She currently serves as the Audit Committee chair for West End Neighborhood House.
An avid athlete, Pietrobono is a rusher and kicker for the Richards, Layton, & Finger flag football team and plays pickleball.
