Q&A: What’s something interesting about you that isn’t on your resume? “I love to watch HGTV. I am fascinated by home renovations and the creatively it requires. In my next life I may be an architect and/pr interior designer.”
Doneene Damon is a trailblazing attorney who became the first woman of color to lead a major Delaware law firm when she was named president of Richards, Layton & Finger, the state’s largest firm, in 2019. While her term ended in 2022, Damon continues to chair RLF’s Corporate Trust and Agency Services Group as an expert in statutory trusts, asset-backed securities, private equity funds, and more. She was also named the firm’s first Chief Diversity Director, where she is improving efforts to attract and retain a diverse attorney workforce.
