In 2018, Kurt Foreman became the first president and CEO of the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, a public-private entity designed to restructure Delaware’s economic development efforts. Foreman’s resume includes various senior economic development roles in chambers and independent groups throughout the country, including the Midwest, Pennsylvania and the Washington, D.C., metro area. He has also worked with local and county settings, as well as regionally- focused programs. Since he arrived in the First State, the DPP has supported at least 56 projects that created or retained nearly 8,600 jobs as of 2022.
