David Gillan has led the Rehoboth Beach-based County Bank since 2011. He worked his way up the community bank’s hierarchy, starting as a loan officer at its founding in 1990, and has spent nearly 40 years in the banking industry. Today, County Bank is the third largest bank serving Delaware that is also headquartered in the state. Gillan’s leadership has led to appointments on the Federal Reserve of Philadelphia’s advisory council and on the Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Committee, which formulates the state’s revenue projections. He also oversaw a rebranding of the bank in 2021.
