I suggest an article about the responsibility of businesses and corporations to the communities in which they live. e.g. Do all they can to reduce co2 emissions such as using electric vehicles, planting as many trees as possible, investing in solar power, etc. They cannot continue to ignore their contributions to global warming with its resulting extinctions and destruction of ecosystems which sustain all life – including human life.
Oil, gas and electric utilities must STOP lobbying for policies that sustain their bottom line, ignoring clear evidence that unless they and we transition NOW to renewable energy sources, the future will be so grim that nothing will matter. A much more positive outcome, as well as public image, will result in an all-out effort by businesses to invest in a transition to a sustainable world; the only world we have.
